Australia’s northern rivers and estuaries are important to sustaining threatened sawfish and river shark species. Hub research provides information to establish monitoring, improve management and facilitate the recovery of these species, using approaches such as acoustic telemetry, molecular research, life history studies and Indigenous engagement and education.
