Current activities

Luciana is a postdoctoral reasearcher at the Australian Institute of Marine Science. She is currently working as part of the species mapping and modelling component of the Northern Seascapes project (A12).

Background

Luciana's research interests fall mainly within the spatial and movement ecology of marine megafauna (sharks, turtles, whales) and the application of ecological and statistical models to describe and predict movement and distribution of species, and to determine environmental drivers and overlap with potential threats.
