Description: 
Adult A. antarctica (wire weed) plant with viviparous seedlings developing. The grappling hook at the base of each seedling enables wire weed seedlings to attach to seagrass, seaweeds, and hessian, although many of the young plants wash up on beaches around Shark Bay WHA.
