Australia’s vast North Marine Bioregion, an area of large-scale development activity, is home to some 80 EPBC-listed Threatened and Migratory marine species. Managing and recovering these species while balancing future development with existing industries, environmental and cultural values requires a strategic, ‘seascape’ approach. By consolidationg knowledge, and building and documenting consensus, we have paved the way for prioritising research for the next 5–10 years, by the Hub and other agencies.
